NCC Rapids Swim Team

We have women and men locker room/bathroom/showers.  The locker rooms have lockers to store your items during the swim meet bring your own lock. Locker rooms are spacious providing plenty of room for swimmers to change.

4 ft to 12 ft. The depth of the pool gradually increases.

6 lane; 25 yard pool; diving blocks for each lane located at the 4 ft. end of the pool. 

For the 100 yard relays, we use blocks on 4 ft. end of pool and dive-in from deck on opposite end into 12' water.  You may do in-water starts, but we suggest diving from the deck.  It is perfectly safe.

We now have some seating on pool deck but you should bring your own chairs. You are welcome to watch poolside.   

We have a grassy area outside where tents, chairs and blankets can be set up.  Tents are recommended. The sun shines brightly with no shade.

Directions: Take I-40 East to Exit 435. Turn North (left) on Cosby Hwy (321). Pool is 1/2 mile on right hand side inside the Newport Community Center. Parking is entered from Prospect St. Turn right at Jones Circle (at Capital Bank). Make first quick left onto Prospect St. Left into parking lot on left.
