This year's Smoky Mountain Invitational (SMI) will be held on July 8 and July 9. Saturday, July 8 is for swimmers age 11 and up, Sunday July 9 is for swimmers age 10 and under. This is an all day Outdoor Invitational in Alcoa, put on by the Maryville Alcoa Flying Dolphins. Springbrook Pool

It is the largest outdoor swim invitational in the US and is a lot of fun for all swimmers! For more info you can visit www.flyingdolphins.org. The meet will begin around 8am and will last till around 4 or 5pm. (Depending on #of entries and weather cooperation) Warmup times will be posted closer to the date of swim, but are usually around 7-7:30 for us. We must submit our roster of swimmers in advance of the meet. We must hear from every swimmer if you WILL BE or WILL NOT be swimming at this meet. This is very important in planning for relays and we also pay per entry, so we must know who is planning to swim. The deadline for notification is June 22nd 4 PM.  If we do not hear from you we will NOT enter you into any events at this meet.
